In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother: Ron Kline.
Left to cherish Janet’s memories are her beloved husband of 60 years: James Smith; her children: Michael Smith (Nancy), Deborah Hill (Rick), and Gregory Smith (Susan); her grandchildren: Stephanie Smith and Jennifer Smith; and her siblings: James Kline (Nola), Jerry Kline, and Linda Jennings (Tom).

Funeral services will be 12 PM Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Arch L Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Rd Louisville, KY 40218. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at the funeral home.
