She is preceded in death by her parents, and her two sisters, Betty Dixon and Bonnie Smith.
Janet is survived by her husband of forty five years; Rod Valentine, their children; Jeff Valentine (Vonda), Eric Valentine, Danny Valentine, Lisa Miracle (Palis) and Beth Boone (Steve), sisters; Barbara Sublett and Joyce Hazel. She is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A celebration of Janet’s life will be conducted at 10am on Monday, January 5, 2015 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 2-8pm Sunday, January 4, 2015 and after 9am the day of the funeral.
