Janetta Lee (Shain) Douglas

Janetta was born on July 20, 1936, in Butler County, Kentucky in the Morgantown area to parents’ William & Ursula Shain. She was a retired clerical worker and worked with Accounts Receivable for the Presbyterian Center. She attended Sullivan University, of which she held an Associate’s Degree in Business. Jesse & Janetta celebrated 65 years of marriage.

Her husband of 65 years, Jesse Frank Douglas, Sr.; parents’, William & Ursula Shain; & brothers, Charles Shain & Ernest Shain, precede Janetta in her passing.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Mary (Gary) Hay; son, Jesse Frank (Tami) Douglas, Jr.; grandchildren, Katherine L. Hay, Victoria (Larry) Watts, Michael Guillen; sisters, Loretta Wolfe & Linda Sue Hoflich; special – friend, Juana Guillen; many nieces, nephews & friends plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

There will be no services.

In lieu of floral tributes & customary expressions of sympathy, memorial contributions can be directed to The Humane Society of Louisville.
