Janice was preceded in passing by her husband, Michael G Ray; parents, Wilbert Gipson and Ruby Cowles Gipson; and 1 brother.
She is survived by her children, Michael Ray, Jr. (Sandra), Dawn Ray, and Anita Houston (Billy); grandchildren, Sarah, Michael III (Amanda), Michael (Meagan), Jordan, Bella, Skyelar, and Hadley; great-grandchildren, River, Olivia, Michael IV, and 1 on the way, Elorie; brothers, Rubin, Bobby, Gene, Travis, Troy, and Dean; sisters, Sharon, Debbie, Theresa, Wilma, and Jolene; 3 very special friends and many other extended family and friends.
A funeral service to celebrate Janice’s Life will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022, at 2 PM in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd, with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 2-8 PM on Sunday, February 20th.
