Jean E Baunach

Jean Elizabeth Baunach, 89, went home to be with her heavenly father on Sunday, January 23, 2022. She was born to the late Albert M. and Mary A. Lomax on September 25, 1932. Jean was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Jean dedicated her life to raising her children and providing a warm, loving home for her family. She was a member of ST. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Jean was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Robert F. Baunach; children, Robert Baunach Jr., Richard Baunach; son-in-law, Nathan Peebles; grandson, Matthew Peebles (son of Becky and Nathan Peebles); and siblings, John Lomax, and Bill Lomax. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cindy Wakefield (Mark), Becky Peebles, Jeannie Bailey (Ken), Sue Baunach; grandchildren, Michael Anderson (Katherine), Cristina Ashley (Justin), Nicole Bailey (Tommy), Melissa Teague, James Caudill, Marshall Peebles (Ashley), Ashley Baunach, Sarah Bailey (Wes),and Travis Baunach (Kalee); great grandchildren, Kaylee, Andrew, Riley, Hudson, Charlotte, Daniel, Lydia, Lily, Lucas; siblings, Don Lomax, Jerry Lomax, Ann Ray, Joan "Jodie" Farris; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. The funeral Service will be held Friday, January 28, 2022 at 11:30 am at Arch L. Heady & Son Okolona with burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 2:00 pm-8:00 pm at Arch L. Heady & Son. Pallbearers: Michael Anderson, Marshall Peebles, James Caudill, and Justin Ashley.
