Jean E. Doelling, 88 of Louisville, passed away January 26, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Bernard and Lillian Kaninberg. Jean started out as a secretary for General Electric before becoming a homemaker. She volunteered at the library as well as for South East Associated Ministries.
Jean is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 34 years: Robert Doelling and her sister: Emma Marie Fischer.
She is survived by her children: Scott (Kathy) Doelling, Suzy Doelling, and Tim (Danielle) Doelling and her grandchildren: Benjamin Doelling, Andrew Doelling, Josh Doelling, Hope Doelling, and Nicole Doelling.
In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to South East Associated Ministries 6500 Six Mile Ln, Louisville, KY 40218.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Arch L Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Rd Louisville, KY 40218 with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12-2 PM at the funeral home.
