She is preceded in death by her parents, L.T. and Mabel Morgan of Corbin, KY, and her husband, Robert C. Gilbert.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Glenn Gilbert (Darleen), Pamela Poiles (Phil); four grandchildren, Josh Gilbert, Samantha Poiles, Amanda Sandford (Allan), Morgan Poiles; three great-grandchildren, Austen Gilbert, Zuriyah Beale, Gabriel Sandford and one great-great-grandson, Marcel Gilbert.
Visitation will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218, on July 24, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
