Jeanie Marie Sutton

She is survived by her son, Robert Bennett, daughter, Michele Kessinger, mother, Jeanie Bowman, father, Robert Sutton Sr., her lifelong partner, Jeff Bennett, grandchildren, Peyton Bennett and Alexis Stone, brothers, Robert Sutton Jr., David Sutton and Michael Bowman, her best friend, Lynne Mullins, and many other loving family members and friends.

Jeanie’s most lasting contribution was her commitment to family, and she asked that we do not remember her with tears, but with joy, laughter and stories that can be passed to generations yet to come. She was a loving mother and grandmother, a role model to her brothers and a loyal friend to many.

A Celebration of Jeanie's life will be conducted at 2 pm Monday, November 12, 2012 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be after 11 am until service time Monday. A memorial reception will be held at Arch l. Heady at Resthaven's event room immediately following the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Metro United Way.
