Do you remember that time we worked out in field service together? It was a warm spring day, and I asked you what it was that made an elder body strong. You wiggled your mustache and giggled, but what you said next has stayed with me since then.

"It's not the wisdom of the individual brothers that accounts for the strength of the body; it's the free flow of the God's spirit that holds them together, and as an elder, it will be your job to protect this."

Thus far in life, there have been two versions of me; the boy that existed before you said this, and the man he became when you did.

Jeff was a dear friend. I worked with him for so many years that I can't remember a time he wasn't with us at the conventions. My love and heart are with you guys!

We are truly sadden by the loss of a dear brother in the faith. I have learned so much from him and I really am glad that I got to work with him at the assemblies and conventions. Alice and I will always remember the fun times we had. I know that our loving father Jehovah will not forget his hard work and the love that he displayed for the friends. It truly saddens us to that such a devoted brother, and friend has fallen asleep. I am glad that I got to work along with him. He has taught me many things. We will remember all the fun times that we spent together as friends. I know that our loving father Jehovah will not forget his hard work and love for the congregations that he displayed. SO so VERY sad and sorry for your loss. I pray that Jehovah will give you strength that allows you to 'look forward' to a future where you can see Jeff again....soon...on an earth filled without pain and suffering. I have always enjoyed listening to Jeff...how encouraging he has been to all of us, especially me. I'm glad Jehovah used him in such a wonderful way...teaching others what HIS will is...surely Jehovah will remember Jeff and all the work he has done to make HIS name known.

My heart aches for you and your family. Jeff will be missed by so many of us who appreciated his encouraging talks his friendly smile, but most of all his devotion to Jehovah. Dear family please know how much you are loved and thought of and remembered in daily prayers.

The saddest event to date that I have ensured in my life, is the loss of my mother.  Such events force us to realize that we are mortal.  Worse still,  that those whom we love are mortal.  Yet, it also requires that we look at who we are, where we are, who we want to be and where we want to be , on a different level than previously.  I pray that you all will revel in the cherished memories of the man, father, husband, shepherd and servant of Jehovah that your father was.  Let your hearts grieve as they must and allow Jehovah to strengthen you.  Remember we are only human.  Jehovah will protect and comfort you in the journey ahead.  You and your family shall be in many prayers now and in the days to come.

Mere words can not explain the pain so many of us have for you and your family. I am so glad that we were able to make the Friday session of the DC, before we left for Latvia. We found out while still here and my knees went weak. I so appreciated his wit and his illustrations in his talks. He is in Jehovah's memory now, and I for one will look forward to welcoming him back. We pray for his family and think of the loving Drama Jehovah provided for all of us on that Friday that he had the privilege of speaking. We hope that the experience of Job and his family can now strengthen all you during Jeff's rest. Our sincerest thoughts and prayers are with each of you.
