Jeffrey "Jeff" Dean Higgins

Jeffrey "Jeff" Dean Higgins, age 63 of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022. Jeff was born January 10, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky to Martin R. Higgins, Jr. & Betty Rose Baker Higgins.

Jeff is preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter & Margaret Baechtold, Samuel & Rosalee Baker; and his father, Martin R. Higgins, Jr.

Jeff was an avid fisherman and duck hunter. He also loved spending time outdoors, walking by the river.

Left to cherish Jeff's memory is his mother, Betty Higgins; brothers, Mark Higgins (Elaine) & Greg Higgins; step-grandson, Trenton Shepherd; niece, Ashley Jordan (Kyle); nephew, Brian Wayne (Kim); great-niece, Emily Jordan; great-nephews, Kayden Jordan, Colton Wayne, Carter Wayne and Brian Wayne, Jr.

Visitation for Jeff will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 2 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40213, with a celebration of Jeff's life to follow at 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The American Heart Association.
