

SFC Jeffrey “Jeff” Stuart Coyle tenaciously fought his battle with cancer for many years, but on Saturday July 2nd, 2022 he went to his eternal home in Heaven to be with Jesus.
Jeff was born to James “Jay” Coyle and Donna Del Lloyd-Coyle on March 21st 1963 in Louisville, Kentucky. His most profound love was for his daughter, son, and two granddaughters. One of his strongest characteristics was his humor and love of family and friends.
Jeff was a 21-and-a-half-year veteran having retired from the US Army as a Tank Commander and Recruiter, serving the country he loved. He was a lifelong avid golfer and a lover of sports. He volunteered at the St Rita Catholic School football games and was the Golf coach.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica (Brandon) Coyle-Stephens; his son, Nicholas Coyle; granddaughters, Eleanor and Haddie; brothers, Steven Coyle, David (Justine) Coyle, & Jonathan (Michele) Coyle; nieces, and nephews; Aunt Dottie, Uncle George, Aunt Susan, and cousins; Stepmother, Suzanne Elder-Coyle and stepsiblings. Ex-wives, Janet Campbell-Ghareeb, and Jackline Rezende-Coyle.
His Pallbearers span across lifelong childhood friends to military brothers all of whom Jeffrey loved deeply; they are Geno Stokes, Greg Kenney, Jeff Kleier, Jonathan Cesler, Lloyd Hoagland, Terry Fihe, & Tom Minton.
A service to celebrate Jeff’s life will take place at 12:30 pm on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village (7410 Westport Road) with procession to Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central (2501 N Dixie Boulevard) to follow immediately after the service for burial. The family welcomes guests to visit at the funeral home prior to the service from 10:00 am-12:30 pm.
