To the entire Werner family, Jeff was a wonderful person. I only had the pleasure of knowing Jeff a short time when he worked in Southern Indiana, but my early impression from our first acquaintance was that he was living a purpose driven life. When I met Jeff he had already done and given a great deal to individuals seeking to improve their lives. He loved education, and was certainly a wonderful addition to any team.

As a father like Jeff, he talked to me a good deal about his wife and certainly his daughters. He adored his daughters. When Jeff relocated, he did an excellent job of balancing his new professional responsibilities with the urgent work of situating his family. He was intent on taking care of both.

Jeff, you will be missed and my prayers and condolences go out to your family and wide circle of friends. I'll always remember your kind text to me. Thanks for giving. God Speed

I had the privilege to work with Jeff about a year ago. He was genuine, smart, funny, enthusiastic and always went above and beyond what was needed....he always had a ready smile and a kind word. I am a better person for having known him, even for a short amount of time. My heart goes out to your family. Rest in peace, my friend.

I'm so sorry for your loss! I don't know any of you nor anyone in the family. His obituary caught my attention today and I can't help but wonder what took his life at such a young age. He was so well educated and accomplished in his working life. He must have had a very high IQ to be able to go so far in his studies. Looking at all the family pictures was wonderful and makes me not feel like a total stranger. I can't imagine the unbearable grief all of you are feeling at this time. Such a wonderful looking family he had and all the children who make a family's life even greater. I am an old woman who reads the obituaries everyday and seldom do I have one that prompts me to look at what is available online. Please forgive me for being so nosey. I will pray for all of you to be able to endure your loss and know that he is at peace now.
I could detect the love all of you have for each other by looking at your pictures.
God Bless All of You!

We knew Jeff as our son's brother-in-law and good friend. Jeff was a super nice guy and such a great Dad. Words can not express how incredibly sad we are, or how horrible we feel for the entire, wonderful Werner family.

I enjoyed getting to know and working alongside Jeff as the skilled and motivated professional he was. More importantly, I found him to be a kind and considerate man who truly cared about those he served in the Excel Center.
To his family and those who knew him closely, who are now in an impossible place of grief, I wish for peace and comfort. My deepest condolences.
