

Born to the late Reavely and Vangeline Wood Jr., Jeff is also preceded in death by his wife, Rosie Wood; his daughter Jessica Renee Lardon; his brother Reavely W. Wood III and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Here to carry on his memory is his sister, Terry McGaughey (Mike); two grandchildren, R.J. and Jaynee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, and aunts.
Jeff gave 110% to every part of his life. He worked for Ford Motor Company for 35 years as a Pipe Fitter. The first 22 years at the Indianapolis plant then transferring to the Louisville plant. He was born into a Ford family in Indianapolis, Indiana. His father worked at the Indianapolis plant for 30 years. Jeff was a honest and loyal man, a truly good guy, a loving brother, husband, father and Papaw. A man who always put family first, no matter what.
Jeff loved spending his days off at his lake house at Lake Patoka boating, fishing, swimming, playing putt-putt and grilling out with family and friends. He was a lifelong avid Indianapolis Colts fan and season ticket holder since 1986. He also was a NASCAR and Brickyard racing fanatic.
He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by family, friends and co-workers.
A visitation for Jeff will be held Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM in Jeff's honor. Jeff will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park.
