Jeremy was a 27-year employee of UPS where he met, managed and mentored so many great people. He loved to play golf, was a craft beer and bourbon “connoisseur”, classic car enthusiasts, U of L sports junkie, camping/outdoor fanatic, and his kids’ loudest cheerleader. Most weekends. you could find him at the ball field, supporting his kids, who were his greatest accomplishment. Any free weekends consisted of camping with his family, where the 4 of them enjoyed quiet fires, game nights, and some fishing for the boys. Jeremy was a Christian by faith and now resides in heaven, after his acceptance of Jesus while on Earth. He has been made healthy, giving those he leaves behind the most amazing sense of peace.
Jeremy is preceded in death by his parental grandparents, Roy and Dorothy Reccius and his maternal grandfather, Jerome Wafzig.
Left to hold on to the memory of how awesome he was, wife of 18 years Shannon Reccius, his kids Brinley and Ryker Reccius, his parents Pat and Lisa Reccius, brothers Brian Reccius (Leslie) and Brandon Reccius (Savannah), grandmother Melanie Wafzig, in-laws Steve and Diane Vaughn, sister-in-law Crystal Wilkinson (Greg), and nephews Brady and Keegan Wilkinson.
