Bev and I send our condolences to the entire Belza family. I was shocked when I heard the news. He touched so many lives in his lifetime. He always talked about all of his family when we could get together.

I have so many wonderful memories of Jerry & Marty! My 2 favorites are: 1. when they hosted us for Derby weekend - complete with a "guest basket" and betting money (since they knew we don't usually bet on things), and the family teaching us how to pick horses at The Oaks. 2. Talking about everything possible, but mostly the family tree research I do. Jerry was so excited at what I was able to find, and I loved all of his wonderful stories!

I will always remember his humor, his great capacity for love and his deep abiding faith.

To the entire Belza family.....Dave, the kids and I are most sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. We will miss having him shout out to us as we walked pass; miss knowing he always watching over the house and street; and miss the history and stories of Westwood, GE, Louisville and Chicago. Keeping you in prayer and may the memories comfort you in this challenging time.
