Paul Gerald “Jerry” Bishop, 84, of Longboat Key, Florida passed away on October 31, 2024. He was a native of Louisville, Kentucky. Jerry was an engineer, and retired from G.E. Appliance (building #2) after many years of service. He enjoyed traveling, attending car shows, and old movies.
Jerry is preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Sandra “Sandy” Bishop and his parents, Paul Bishop and Lillian “Lil” Bishop. Jerry is survived by his daughter, Robin Smith and Robin’s husband Charlie Smith, and two grandchildren, Craig Smith and Matthew Smith.
Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 12pm – 2pm on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd., Louisville, KY 40218. A funeral will follow at 2pm in the funeral home chapel. Jerry will be entombed with his wife Sandy at Resthaven Memorial Park.
