Jerry you are missed so much by all of us!! Jerry was my hero, he was a proud Vietnam veteran, retired police lieutenant with 25 years service, a wonderful family man that loved his wife, children and grandchildren more than life itself. Jerry was my amazing brother  my friend and my hero.
Love and Miss You Brother, Rest Easy

Jerry and I were classmates from elementary school on. We spent many summer days together as well. He was always smiling, was kind, was full of fun, and made many great memories with the Class of 66. I am particularly grateful to Jerry for the support he gave me the night my son was struck down by a hit and run driver. Jerry was at the hospital and made sure I got through the initial trauma of having my son almost die as a result of the accident. He worked hard to find the one who did it; ultimately, he was able to arrest the people responsible. That was Jerry, dedicated to doing what was right. I will miss him so much.

My family and I were extremely sad to hear of Jerry's passing,  Words cannot express what Candy and Jerry and their family meant to us through the years.  God surely smiled on all of us the day we became friends.  Jerry was the most kind hearted and generous person I have ever known and it is hard to say how many lives he touched during his life.  He loved his family and his friends and  was always there for them. My late husband admired him so much and valued his friendship.  We have so many good
memories of happy times we spent together.  I will cherish them forever.  My prayers go out to Candy, Stacy, Adam, Mary and the precious grandchildren whom he loved with all his heart.   God bless each of you .  Terry and I and our children were blessed to call Jerry our friend.  

In loving memory of my Uncle Jerry; he served his country and community, but most of all was a wonderful family man. I will cherish the good times and fond memories. My deepest sympathies go out to my Aunt Candy, Stacey, Adam, Mary and the grandkids. I know that they loved him more than words can say. Keeping them all close in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time. Rest In Peace, Uncle Jerry...I Love You!

Left to cherish Jerry’s memory is his loving wife of 50 years, Candy Owen; children, Adam Owen (Mary), Stacey Owen; grandchildren, Tyler, Cooper, Stella, Emi; brother, Rob Owen (Sandy); dear friends, John and JoNell Schultz; and several nieces and nephews.
