Jess L. "Johnny" Nix

Mr. Nix was a member of Columbia Baptist Church in Adair County and Okolona Masonic Lodge Post # 853.

He was also a member of Carpenter's Union Local 64.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ollie Wright-Nix-Goude.

Mr. Nix is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marsha Collins Nix; cousins, Thomas Wright, Suzie Denno, John D. Wright, Dorothy Wright all of Michigan, Sara Stuart, Louvenna Merrell, John Grizzell, and Johnnie Mae all of Georiga; in-laws, Ellen Culp, DeDe Epperson, Sam (BoBo) Collins, Sheila Linkenhoker, Janice Weiter, Francine and Terry Kennedy, Sharon Collins, Mark Collins, Becky Sexton all of Kentucky; others, Kelly Lacer, Sue Moore, Ernie Britain, Bonnie & Layne Barnes, and many friends.

Funeral service will be 2pm on Friday, April 6, 2012 at Evergreen Funeral Home, with entombment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2-8pm on Thursday and from 10am-2pm on Friday at the funeral home.
