Howard was a Navy Veteran.
He worked at Süd-Chemie for 30 years retiring in 2007. From an early age, he loved everything about cars. That led him to work at Bob Hook Chevrolet post-Navy. He returned to Bob Hook after retirement and spent the next 14 years doing what he loved. Howard was member of Okolona Christian Church for 40+ years. He was an avid NASCAR fan and passed the love of racing onto his grandson.
Howard was the devoted husband to Deborah Babcock for 49 years. A loving father to his children, Brandon Babcock (Shannon), Millisa Brown (Chris); and proud Grandfather to his five grandchildren, Makena, Autrey, Caden, Blake, and Beckham; his Sister Donna Burba (Jim); preceded in death by his father Ray Babcock, Mother Dorothy Viers, and brother Gary Babcock.
Per his wishes, he will be cremated with a celebration of life to follow, date to be determined.
