Jimmy R. White

A Celebration of Life will be held at 7pm on Wednesday September 28th at Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave, Louisville, KY. The family will receive guests from 2pm until the time of the service at 7pm.

Jim was born on February 28th 1945 in Kenvir, Kentucky also known as Harlan County but to us it was “Black Mountain”. He was the second of six children born to the late Charlene and Anthony White.

He served his country proudly in the United States Army, and was discharged during the Vietnam War.

Jim was a Mason by trade and owner operator of Jim White Masonry in Portland. He enjoyed collecting lunch boxes, knives, and slot machines. But his true love was for black jack, card games, gambling at the casinos, and pool playing.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents Charlene and Anthony White, brothers Anthony Junior White, Danny White, and his angel on earth Audrey E. White.

He is survived by his wife Sue White, siblings Betty White, Donna (Ronnie) Bonham, and Michael (Lisa “Jim’s special Gal”) White, beloved friend and caregiver Mary Forney, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
