

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles R. Bleuel; sons, Kevin and Kenneth Bleuel; brother, Thomas Hildenbrand; brother-in-law, Ronnie Smith; and sister-in-law Judy Hildenbrand.
Jo Ann was a lifelong faithful member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary and loved the outdoors and was an amazing cook. She was a member of the LOG Club, “Ladies of Germantown” and KOSE Club, “Kids of St. Elizabeth”. She was a dedicated basketball Mom and also had a great love for the arts, such as the opera, ballet, Broadway and the Louisville Orchestra.
She is survived by her children, Marie Bleuel, Michael Bleuel (Pam), Stephan Bleuel, Thomas Bleuel (Tammy), Eric Bleuel (Alaina) and Alicia Bleuel; grandchildren, Christopher (Angel), Elizabeth, Melinda, Stephanie Muth (Christopher), Allison Boyers (Brandon), Matthew, Kristina Merideth (Joshua), Kenneth, Nicholas, Brittney Walters (Jonathan), Kayla Tilley, Zachary, Ethan and Robert; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Elaine Smith; brother, Denis Hildenbrand and sister-in-law, Roe Hildenbrand; many nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy on Friday, November 29, 2024 from 4 pm until 8 pm.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 11 am at St. Elizabeth of Hungary, 1020 E Burnett Ave. She will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
