Jo Ann Williamson

Jo Ann (Willis) Williamson was born on March 12, 1942 to Dolly Lucile and Raymond Lakin. She died on June 9, 2021 from complications caused by dementia. Her Memorial Service will be held at the Beulah Presbyterian Church on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 11 a.m. Due to Covid restrictions, the service will be private for immediate family members only.

Jo Ann was a Louisville native and a graduate of Southern High School. She was an award-winning Nurse Aide throughout her lifetime in the hospital and home health settings. She was an avid gardener, thrifter, and loving matriarch.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dolly Lucile and Raymond Lakin; her sister, Catherine (Lakin) Dini; her brother, Billy Lakin; and her daughter, Gwyn (Willis) Obst. She is survived by her four children, Karen Edlin, Sherry (Don) Bowers, John (Michelle) Willis, and Billy (Misty) Willis; and five grandchildren, Donnie (Katie) and Meghan Bowers; Haley (Jenny) Edlin, Serena Willis, and Olivia Obst.
