She was the daughter of Raymond and Emma (Spencer) Cannon, deceased. She was loving mother of Shannon Johnson of Louisville, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Tonya Johnson; and her brother Curtis Cannon.
Jo Etta was a retired hairdresser who owned her own salon in Clarkson, KY. She was a strong-willed person in which she credited her mother and her many family members who helped raise her from an early age due to the death of her father.
Cremation was chosen, and a graveside gathering will be held at Mt. Zion Christian Cemetery at a later date.
