JoAnn Burge Ansert, 86, of Louisville, KY passed away on March 19, 2021. She was born on June 28, 1934 in Louisville, KY to the late Joseph P. Stauble, Sr. and Anna Mae Steier. JoAnn is also preceded in death by her first husband, Billy D. Burge; second husband, Joseph Ansert, Jr.; daughter, Brenda Burge; granddaughter, Kristina Comstock; and three brothers.
JoAnn is survived by her children, Mary Wilson, Don Burge, Lisa Comstock (Kevin), David Burge and Nancy Malcom; step-children, JoAnn Moore (Michael) and Michael Ansert (Carolyn); twenty-three grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven (4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218). A service to honor the life of JoAnn will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 12 noon at the funeral home.
JoAnn will be laid to rest at St. Michael Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
