She is preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Grace Smith, her brothers; Virgil, Frank and William Smith and a sister, Alberta Kaufman.
JoAnn is survived by her children: Gregg O'Bryan, Scott Fawbush (Michelle), Martin Fawbush (Aprill), Dana Young (Ed), and Tara Fawbush (Glenn), a sister, Sue Linne (Rhea) sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
A celebration of JoAnn’s life will be conducted at 12 noon on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd with interment to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Ferncreek. Guests are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, November 10, 2014 from 3-8 pm and after 9am the day of the funeral.
