I miss you so so much Mummy 😢I miss you both but I thank God for all the beautiful memories Tony and I have of all of us together. Tony and I know you and sister are with our heavenly Father and with Johnny, Natalie and the rest that has went on. We think of you often, sometimes we cry,  other times we laugh, holding on to such wonderful and beautiful memories. Mummy, I miss you soooo much, some days are so unbearable. My heart is so empty mummy, I wish you were here to hug me and I could hold your hand. Tony & I talk about you often , he misses making your coffee and the talks you both had. Vickie is hanging in there mummy and I know she misses you too. Please ask our Lord Jesus if you can visit or leave us something to know you have if he permits your visit. Mummy I love you, I love you mummy and miss you. 🌻🌻♥️♥️🌹🌹

 I miss you Mummy, I miss you soooooo much. Thanks you for leaving the little things to let us know you are thinking of us and watching over us. Tony misses you and your all talks and he misses making your coffee. I miss our TV shows together, our fun times, porch sitting and so much more. As you know we had some pretty days on the porch lately. I was planting some flowers in the porch pots and  I look and there was one of you tester strips. Thank you for letting me know you were there too. I love you mom, Tony loves you and Vickie does , I know she misses you. We are doing good mummy we really are you would be so proud.  You are always in our thought and our hearts mummy, always. 

We miss you  so so much and we believe you know and you see how much. I've heard one say that most has gotten over the pain of you leaving us, we say, how can that be? You were everything to us! Our pain may ease over time, but we will never get over missing you and  having you beside us. We miss everything about you and having you here, we even miss the bickering and the messes you would make,  the clutter on the piano and fixing your phone, tablet and tv when you seem to push the wrong buttons.  Mummy I've always taken care of you when you got sick , nursed you back and you would make it through.  We would go places, sight seeing, long rides and enjoyed getting out and about together . Mummy are hearts will never mend totally without you here and not a day passes that we don't think of you. Your smile, your laugh, the bell that would ring, so many memories your time here had brought us throughout the years. Until we see each other again, we send our love, our kisses and warm hugs to you above. We miss you Mummy,..., Tony, Joni ,Vickie and our little family. 

Mummy, it's been so very sad ànd lonely in our house without you here. There isn't a moment, hour or day that doesn't come, that we find ourself thinking of you or seeing a memory of you here or there.  We smile and laugh, at times, but then we find ourself hurting with that missing you so much pain in our hearts. Mummy , there were times of aggravation and frustration with us all, you , me, Tony and even Vickie, we know..but.. we made it through.  We hung in there as family is supposed to do through thick and thin. We loved one another and put that behind us before we laid our heads down to sleep, we prayed together and gave our kisses goodnight. We miss your laugh, the bell ringing, the football games, hooting and hollering. The TV shows and the long talks with Tony as well as myself about growing up and among other things. You are and always will be in our hearts, our thoughts and in so many memories. We love you Mummy, until we all meet again, you hold that missing piece of our hearts that left with you when you walked hand in hand with our Lord Jesus. ♥️😢

Mummy, I miss you, we miss you! Our hearts are so heavy with saddiness but yet a great feeling of happiness! We know without a doubt you are at that beautiful place the Lord has prepared for us. No more pain or trouble breathing, no more shots or medications. It's nothing but, happinesses, amazing love and comfort, more than we down here can imagine. Mom there are many times, I feel empty and lost, not having you here to love and care for, to bicker with, to laugh with, hold your hand and talk with or nurse you back to better health.  Mum I find Tony in yours and sisters room at times, just standing , crying, but yet with the biggest smile on his face. He knows where you are, but that doesn't stop him from missing his buddy, his friend and those long enjoyable talks about the good ol days. The stories you two talked about, some were stories I had never heard you speak of.  I was so grateful you shared them with Tony and I had gotten to hear them for the first time too. Thank you for sharing something so special with Tony, it meant so much to him. Mom, Tony was honored to be able to call you "MOM"  and I know for the longest, you preferred, Mema, but you came to get use to him calling you "Mom". I know how much you loved him and all he done, put up, when it came to us Simmons women. Poor fellow, haaaa. For several years it's been "us four", four peas in a pod, four cookies in the box, You, Vickie, Tony and I. Mummy, there are many many special memories that are priceless, special memories that cover the not so good ones but that's a part of lie. The good and not so good. God did not promise the sunshine without 
a little rain! These memories, we can reflect back on and they will bring so much joy and love to our hearts. We have our peace mummy and we still have you here forever in our hearts. Mrs. Simmons is preceded in death by her son, John Shannon Simmons.


Left to cherish her memory are her children, Debra Gammons, Vickie Rodgers, Cindy Lieras, Joni Vozzo (Tony), Robert Martin Simmons Jr., and Jennifer Simmons. Grandchildren, whom she adored, David, Steven, Bryan, Natalie, Mickey, Jennifer, Scotty, Jessica, Kaylyn and multiple great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
