Joe Franklin Deacon, 90; passed away on October 17, 2013. Joe loved spending time with his family, but most of all he loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, he also enjoyed watching UofK basketball. Joe is preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice L. Deacon; he is survived by his three sons; Larry Deacon (Mary), Daniel Deacon (Charlotte), and Glenn Deacon (Denise); 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Deacon will be held at 10am on Monday, October 21, 2013 at Evergreen Funeral Home, Visitation will be held from 1-8pm on Sunday, October 20, 2013.
