Joe was a retired employee of over 45 years with Julius Schnurr & Sons.
He is preceded in death by son: Stephen Bieckert, parents; Albert and Helen Brieckert, Brothers; Albert and Edward Bieckert.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 57 years; Betty Bieckert, Children; Connie Woods (Danny), Ronald Bieckert (Joy), Cherrie Bieckert, Lisa Miles (David) and Debbie Ditsler (Scott), sisters; Elizabeth Tilly (Robert), Janey Wise (Frank), Judy Strastny and Lorey Baurle (Leonard). Eight Grandchildren and seven great grandchildren
Joe will also be missed by his devoted Yorkie, Sassy.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted 12 noon Friday, June 1, 2012 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 3-8 pm Thursday May 31, 2012 and after 9 am the day of the service.
