John Lawrence Jr., 71, passed away Saturday October 27, 2012 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital.
He was born in Louisville on July 01, 1941 to the late John Lawrence Sr. and Dorothy Louise Wonder Butterhoff. John served our country in the U.S. Navy then went onto working at Ford Motor Company, where he retired as a Parts Manager. He was a Catholic by faith, an avid golfer and loved his garden. John was better known for being a loving father and a best friend to many.
Sisters, Shirley Butterhoff and Joyce Boisvert precede him in death.
Left to carry on his memory are children, Kim Rowekamp (Terry), Theresa Ott (Chris) and Susan Bramer (Darrell); grandchildren, Mason Bramer, Makenze Evans, Ellie Ott, Brooke Bramer, CJ Ott, Tucker Ott, Brady Rowekamp, and Ava Rowekamp.
A service in celebration of John’s life will be noon Wednesday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
