John Floyd Compton, 75, passed away on January 13, 2024. He was born June 5, 1948. John is survived by his brothers Aubrey (Tina) and David (Carla). Wife of 53 years, Darlene, daughter Stephanie, grand children Grace and Ryan, and great grandchild Tobias.
John was greatly involved with music- from rock-n-roll to church music.
Visitation will be held on Saturday January 20, 2024 from 3PM to 8PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218. A funeral service will be the following day on Sunday January 21, 2024 at 2PM in the funeral home chapel. John will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park.
