John Christopher Garrett, 59, of Louisville passed away October 6, 2015 surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with diabetes. He was born on September 19, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri to Patricia Desgranges and the late John E. Garrett. He attended the University of Louisville and a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.
He is survived by his loving mother, Patricia Ann Garrett; a sister, Janet Kay Garrett; and a brother, David Edward Garrett.
A private graveside service will be conducted at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements under the direction of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven.
Expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
