He was previous owner of Eastern Suburban Electric Co., Louisville, Ky., retired, and a member of the Lake Wales church in Lake Wales, Fla. He was an avid golfer.
John is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Grace Herrick and two sons, Jerry and John Herrick
He is survived by his wife of fifty years of marriage Linda Herrick, their son, Brian, and John's children, Victor Judd, Michael Judd, Teri Judd Hall, and grandsons, Christopher, Brian Adam, and Maximillion Herrick
A funeral service to celebrate John's life will be conducted on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 2pm in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd., with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation Friday, November 20, 2015 from 11 a.m. until funeral.
