Dear Great Aunt Betty and Family,

I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Johnny. My Dad(Lucien) just informed me.
I am however glad I have gotten to see both you and Uncle Johnny when you have come to visit us in Virginia. I wish the Lefebvre clan wasn't so spread out, so I could have gotten to know your family better.

             "The Catcher"
At a funeral, the pastor told the story about a trapeze artist. The performer admitted that although he is seen as the star of the show, the real star is the catcher – the teammate who hangs from another trapeze bar to grab him and guarantee a safe landing. The key, he explained, is trust. With out-stretched arms, the flyer must trust that the catcher is ready and able to grab him.

Dying, is like trusting in God as the catcher. After we have flown though life, we can look forward to God reaching out to catch His followers and to pull us safely to Him forever. I like that thought.

This reminds me of Jesus' comforting words to His disciples: “Let not you heart be troubled…I go to prepare a place for you. And…I will come again to receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you will also be.” (John 14:1-3)
Life is indeed a risky business, but be encouraged! If you have put your faith in Jesus Christ, the Catcher is waiting at the end to take you safely home.

Grandpa you will always have a special place in my heart.  I will remember the vacations went on the camper to gulf shores.  Expecially the last one we went to Savannah for someone who did not want to go dolphin tour who i got  better pictures. You will be truley missed.  I was so glad I was able to take out for the car ride in Honda

Uncle John was a very dear and kind man.  I have very fond memories of him, may he rest in peace.  I know he will be missed by many but is resting now.  He will watch over the rest of while we are here on earth.

Papaw John will always hold a special place in my heart. His memories, stories, and smiles will be with me forever. No words can come even close to describing Papaw John. He was such an amazing man, and I am so proud to be able to call him my grandpa.Grandma and Grandpa have taught me what love can withstand and what a soulmate really is. This last year and half he has taught me courage and strength that I didn't know was even possible. I am so thankful for all the cook-outs, trips to gatlinburg, and gulf shores. Saying Grace before every meal will never be the same without him.But I know he will be with us at every family cookout, every meal and every time we need him. Enjoy the view from heaven Papaw, We will all be together again one day and until then I will carry you in my heart.

Dad enjoyed the simple things in life.  He loved to spending time with his family,riding his motorcycle,playing golf,watching his wrestling and just simply sitting and watching the hummingbird. Yes,Dad enjoyed the simple things in life,we should all take a lesson from him.

Papaw John will always be in our hearts, watching over us from Heaven waiting to be with all of us again. I imagine him playing golf, riding his bike and being the same funny, witty grandpa i've always known. I know the last year and a half was very hard for him, I'm so thankful he went peacefully into Heaven and I think its because he knows we will all be alright and are at peace with ourselves. He is the toughest, most tender hearted man I've ever known. I will never forget all the good memories of the old house, Gatlinburg, camping, and all the family cookouts. It will never be the same with out him, but I know he will still be there in spirit. I can't wait until I get to see you again, but until then, I love you grandpa, watch over us, I know I now have one heck of a guardian angel on my side.

Dearest Aunt Betty & family:
I wanted to express our deepest sympathies on Uncle John's passing on behalf of my father, and Uncle John's brother, Armand and my brother, Bob.  Even though I had not had the opportunity to meet you or your family, I feel this loss tremendously, as I remember the visit Uncle John & Uncle Eddie paid to us when Dad was visiting a few years ago.
