My most sincere condolences in the family of Dr. Mason, he was a professor of mine at Upper Iowa University and helped to guide me with many educational decisions and definitely with my career decisions. He was a amazing person and will be missed my many. Thoughts and prayers with all family.

Anne,  I was so surprised to hear of the death of Donnie.  I knew he had been ill.  He is at peace now.  Please know I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Zelma  Spring Valley neighbors Ellie O Brien,Margaret Clark and Marguerite Davis were visiting recently when the matter of John's death came up.  Though we didn't know John we have gowing memories of his mom and want to support her and the family during this sad time.  Marguerite especially remembers a condolence letter sent to her family by Zelma upon the death of son,Eric in 1987. (She keeps the letter)

You didn't have to know John very long to discover that the curmudgeon persona he tried to project concealed a caring and kind man.  He was a talker and a storyteller, with most of the stories about his family.  Sometimes they were told with amusement, sometimes with exasperation, but always with great love and affection.  Please accept my sympathy for his loss.

I was schocked to hear the news of Don's passing. Many fond and silly memories come to mind. His mustang, pellet gun, home made rockets and our working model of the Louisville Water Co. among others. He will be missed and my prayers go out to his family.
