I will certainly miss John stopping by my office door to say my name in a way only he could. Taaaammeee. I loved it every time. He made me smile and I felt as if he genuinely wanted to make me happy. He was a tender caring soul and will be sorely missed. I know heaven is a smidge brighter now that he has joined the heavenly ranks.

John was a great ambassador for Options Unlimited's day program for over 20 years. He was always the first to greet a visitor and would introduce himself. He was very good at making people feel at home. He enjoyed talking about his work with the fire departments for the Crusade for Children and his family. He would also ask people about themselves and engage them in a conversation. It was one of his many talents. He also enjoyed charming the ladies and telling them how great they looked and how intelligent they were. John loved to say the prayer at our parties. He kept them short and sweet, said amen, then "Let's eat!"

John will be missed by the whole Options Unlimited family

I am so sorry for you, Junior, and Tracy and Drew, and Tommy and Mylissa. Every visit John made to the office made everyone's day better. He brought joy to everyone he saw every day, even without trying. I know you will miss him, and I will too. I will always remember that certain way he would say to me, "Sullivan!".
I'm almost laughing and crying at the same time just thinking about John.
Remember our loss is Heaven's gain, and his life will be happy evermore. He and Micki will be smiling down upon us all.

John was a very special person. My son Kenny was with him at options for several years. He will truly be missed. God has his angel with him now.

Dear Family...I was the family's insurance agent and from the very beginning Johnny and I bonded. What an immense impact he had on my life. I would pick him up and we would go on a little adventure together. I just loved him! We talked on the phone every day for probably 15 yrs. When Micki passed we lost touch but I never forgot the times we had. I have retired and now live in Florida. Let me share how I learned of his passing. Sunday November 8th I watched a movie "The Peanut Butter Falcon". Gosh it brought back lots of memories. I've shared our friendship with my Sweetie and she has said many times that we need to locate him and see him when we are on a visit home. Last night she put the pieces of the puzzle together and found he was in Heaven. We couldn't believe it! Peace my friend we will meet again. We will take a ride in the blue car and I won't go fast!

So sorry for your loss, Johnny was my Great Nephew and loved by so many people. I have many good memories of Johnny. I won't be able to attend as I am quarantined, but my thoughts and prayers will be with the family.

Thank you Father for the gift of memory
That allows us to hold close
The ones we love
Even after they are with you

Johnny will be missed so much at Options. He’s probably eating rolls and watermelon with Alex Trebek, Bob Ross and his mom, he missed so dearly.

I have so many fond memories of John!
He made me laugh and smile. John had a great sense of humor! I loved watching John sing George Jones songs.

I feel honored that I got to know him while working at Options Unlimited.
We had some great conversations about life.
He was a beautiful soul and a bright light in this world! John’s faith was so big! He will light up heaven with his smile.
You’ll always be remembered and loved Johnny Cakes. He loved when I called him that!
