Johnny (G) retired from being an upholsterer from J. Best Company. He was a jack of all trades, there was nothing he couldn't do. During his retirement, he started his lawn and gardening services, as well as flipping homes and taking care of rental properties. During the warm weather, he would refurbish antique furniture and had a slot at the local flea market. He also had multiple passions that consists of hunting, fishing, and playing poker with family and friends. He was a member of 26th Street Social Club where he won multiple tournaments playing pool and darts. Most importantly he was married to his loving wife Marilyn for 53 years.
Johnny (G) is preceded in death by: wife Marilyn Gudger; mother Clara Gudger; brother Larry Gudger; sister Erma Arnold; siblings: sister Veronica Arnold and brother Terry Gudger.
Johnny (G) is survived by: His daughters; Monica Gudger ,Shelia Johnson; Sons: John Gudger Jr, Match Gudger; Grandchildren: Ashley Gudger, Dwight Gudger, Dustin Gudger, Corea Lee, April Gudger, Dionna Means, Jaionna Gudger, Cortez Johnson, and Jaden Gudger.

A funeral service for Johnny (G) will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road on Saturday July 9 at 11:00 AM.
