Jose A. Hayden, 49, of Louisville passed away November 8, 2010 at Jewish Hospital. He was born October 1, 1961 to Jeffers Hayden and the late Bernice Williams Hayden. He was a avid tennis player at the Louisville Tennis Club. He was a United States Postal Employee and a former Louisville Metro Fireman.
In addition to his father he is survived by two children; Jose Hayden Jr. and Dionne Hayden; brothers, Jourdon Hayden, Marcus (Julie) Hayden, Jeff (Juanita) Hayden and Conn (Beanie) Hayden; grandmother, Lillian Morehead; a grandson;two uncles, Kenneth Hayden and Stallard Williams; six aunts, Lillian Delores Brooks, Eugenia Moore, Shirlene Pope, Lillian Pope, Emma Jean Powers and Ruth Gilispie; a great-great aunt, Virginia Henderson and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial celebrating his life will be conducted Saturday at 2pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road.
