

He was born in Nueva Ecija, Philippines on June 15, 1920. He brought pride to his family when he graduated Meritissimus from the University of Sto. Thomas Medical School in 1946. He topped the boards when he passed his medical licensing boards in Manilla, Philippines. He served as professor in the OB/GYN department and was a board member of the Philippine College of Surgeons and OB/GYN Society.
After migrating to Louisville, Ky in 1970, he worked in surgery at the former St. Anthony's Hospital, Methodist Hospital, St. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital, Baptist Hospital East and Suburban Hosptial. He was a founding member of the Fil-Am Society and past President of the Philippine Medical Association of Ky. He was also a member of the Kentucky Medical Association. He enjoyed cooking and was well known for his Leche Flan. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Louisville Cardinals fan. Special highlights of his life were when he visited Our Lady of Lourdes in France in 2003 as well as celebrating his 25th wedding anniversary at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Inocencia Javier, first wife Felisa A. Javier, and daughters Asuncion Villasenor and Josefina Cayton. He is survived by his loving wife, Bernadette Dadural Javier; children, Corazon, Nilo (Jinny), Noel (Cora), Noli (Theresa), Wil Cayton (Charlene). He also enjoyed the company of 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, July 15, 2013 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 1395 Girard Dr. Entombment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3-9 PM on Sunday at Arch L. Heady and Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd.
