David, I am very sorry for your loss, Joe was a very special person, every basketball season I always think of him and his nickname he gave me BOBBY BECK , rambling wreck from Georgia Tech, it made me feel special when he would always call me that, I stopped by to visit several weeks ago after speaking with Mac no one home , I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

One of my fondest memories is when Uncle Joe and I ran four miles one morning while Uncle Eugene overslept (down in GA).  We will do it again in Heaven one day.  Keep those running shoes hot!!!

I will always miss Joe's smiling face and helpful kindness at The Commodore.  May the Peace that Passes All Understanding be with Joe, his family, and all who loved him at this difficult time.

David, Sissy, and Diane.  I love you guys.  Though we haven't seen each other very much as adults, I remember and cherish our times together as kids.  I always loved coming to your house on Magnolia to visit - it was great fun for me - I have fond memories playing manhunt and of course, basketball . . . go figure. My favorite childhood memories were spent at your house on Magnolia Street.  I loved to come to your house and play, giggle and just be kids.  I always wished I had a nickname like yours:  Bird, Sissy & Bubby!  Your Mom, Aunt Judy, would always make us laugh at night.  I don't think we ever slept when we spent the night because we'd stay up laughing all night!  I am very sad to hear about Uncle Joe passing.  I will keep you close to my heart and in my prayers.  I love you guys.

Everyone at The Commodore loved and respected Joe. His helpful nature and happy personality is very much missed.
He was always a joy to talk to and he sincerely cared about everyone who lives here. We will think about him often.

Joe was a good man, friend, and co-worker. I worked with Joe at The Commodore for 6 years until he left due to his illness. In that time I became good friends with him. We loved talking sports,movies, and he always loved talking about horse racing. I will always think of Joe at Derby because every year he gave me the horse to pick. And he was always right!!
