Joseph "Joe" H Hartman, age 82, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. Joe was born on April 24, 1942 in Etschka, Yugoslavia to Michael and Katherine Hartman. He was an avid "do-it-yourselfer", often found working on home projects for his loved ones and caring for the neighborhood cats.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife of 57 years, Barbara Hartman; several treasured furry companions.
Left behind to cherish his memory, are his daughter Kelly Hartman; Brother- in-law, Don Curtsinger (Ann); Aunt, Eva Becker; a host of cherished cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40213. A service to honor the life of Joe will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Joseph H. Hartman will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery alongside his loving wife Barbara Hartman.
Memorial donations can be made in Joe’s name to Presentation Academy.
