

He was a member of St. Louis Bertrand, a project manager within the construction industry and a Veteran in the United States ARMY.
Joe was a 1960 graduate of Trinity High School and a 1964 graduate of Bellermine University. Joe donated a lot of his time and energy to developing the youth soccer community in Louisville. Joe's passion (beside his family) was deep sea fishing off of the coast of Key West.
In addidtion to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Hayden.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Hayden; children, Joseph Hayden, Lori Reynolds (James), and Jed Hayden (Vian); grandchildren, JoJo Reynolds and Gabe Reynolds; and two sisters, Betty Burns and Ann Butcher (Charlie).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 1:30 at St. Louis Bertrand,1104 South 6th Street, Louisville, KY 40203 with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8 on Wednesday at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Road.
