Joseph R. Hill

Joseph “Joe” Raymond Hill, 91, passed away on March 15, 2025. He was born in Grayson County, Kentucky on March 1, 1934 to the late Martha and Joseph Delmar Hill. He was a United States Marine Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kenny Hill; daughter, Patty Puleo; great-granddaughter, Kali Carson; and siblings, Stanley Hill, Ann Kennedy, Charlene Drury and Florine Dean. Mr. Hill retired after 34 years from Philip Morris as a machinist.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Ruth Ann Hill; children, Kim Hall (Buddy), Teresa Hill, Mike Phillips (Cheryl) and Daniel Phillips (Helen); grandchildren, Missy Carson, Ryan Madden, Quentin Hill, Nicki Carney, Michael Phillips, Kelly Quinn, Daniel Phillips, Christina Phillips, Joshua Phillips, Lilly Phillips, James Phillips, Megan Chowdhury and Kayla Dillingham 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-greatgrandchild; brothers, Rick Hill (Diana) and Kenny Hill (Patsy); and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 1 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Family and friends may pay their respect on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 3 pm until 8 pm at Evergreen Funeral

Home, 4623 Preston Hwy and on Friday from 12 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
