Joe was a retiree from the United States Postal Service, a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of Fidelis Sunday School Class at Crestwood Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister.
He is survived by his wife, Rheba Williar Koestel; three step-daughters, Janie Jacques (Mike), Candy Thomas (Kirk) and Sherry Kefauver; and four grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be conducted Saturday February 5, 2011 at 2 P.M. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 11-2 on Saturday at the funeral home.
