

At the age of 77, he lived a life of accomplishment. He retired as a physician where he spent the majority of his career with the former St Anthony Hospital. He spent the last days of his career assisting surgeries at many local hospitals, such as Jewish Hospital, Baptist East and Norton Healthcare. Dr. Larosa was known for his unbreakable dedication to his work, friends, family and his faith.
Growing up in the Philippines, Dr. Larosa dedicated his life to medicine and the idea of raising his family in America. He was a tireless worker who's passion for medicine helped endless numbers of patients live a better life. His co-workers and many friends knew him as generous, kind, reliable and loyal , always able to count on him for any needs.
Dr. Larosa had a greater passion to provide for his family. After a short time in Massachusetts, the family was re-located to Louisville. His constant sacrifices allowed his children to pursue their professional interests in both medicine and business.
Along with his wife of 45 years, Dr. Larosa dedicated his life to Jesus Christ as a member of St Albert the Great Church. In his last years he struggled with health issues, never wavering on his faith.
Dr. Larosa is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Dr. Ethel Larosa Klemens (Dr. James Klemens). He is survived by his wife, Dr. Bella Larosa, sons, Dr. Julius Larosa (Rauhen), Jeff Larosa (Erin), and his 6 grandchildren, Nur, Mariem, Nathan, Evelyn, Audrey and Maya.
Visitation will be Thursday July 25 at 2:00 PM-8:00 PM and Friday July 26 at 4:00 PM-8:00 PM at Arch L Heady at 7410 Westport Rd.
Funeral services will be held Saturday July 27 at 10:00 AM at St Albert the Great Church located at 1395 Girard Drive, Louisville, Ky 40207
