

He was born on August 19, 1924 to the late Joseph Mavri and Ann Pekol Mavri in Imperial, Pennsylvania. Joe was a retired Manufacturing Engineering Manager for International Harvester, and a member of the IH Retirees Club.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 62 years, Angela Perushek Mavri; two sisters Frances Remshak and Ann Mavri of Milwaukee, WI.; his children Jim (Cynthia) Mavri of Milwaukee, WI., Nancy (Larry) Dicken of Lexington, Ky., Jean Mavri of Jeffersonville, IN., and Sally Mavri, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to express their appreciation for the exceptional care that Joe received from the staff of the Morton Neighborhood at the Episcopal Church Home, and the staff of 4 North at Baptist East Hospital.
A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for November 26 at 11am at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, Louisville, Ky. Internment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee, WI.
