ROMAN, JOSEPH T., 93, of South Louisville died Thursday, June 17, 2010 at Jewish Hospital. He was retired from the Civil Service, a native of Stiles, PA., a charter member of the Wilder Park Neighborhood Association, a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Highland Park Masonic Lodge, a longtime member of Epiphany United Methodist Church and an Army-Air Corp veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by a son, Joseph D. Roman. He is survived by his wife of 67 years the former Agatha "A.B." Ashby; a daughter, Kathy Shepherd (Raymond); brothers, Paul and George Roman; two grandsons, Mark and Scott Shepherd; and Lawrence Kovie. A service to celebrate Mr. Roman's life will be held at noon Monday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with entombment to follow in Evergreen Mausoleum.
