Joyce McClain was born and reared on a farm in Henry County, KY to Gilbert and Novella Jones. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby McClain, her daughter, Janet Johnson, son-in-law, John Johnson, and great grandson, Duncan Arthur.
Joyce is survived her children, Barry McClain (Charlene), Bradley McClain (Lisa), and Amy Hill (Darrell).

Great grandchildren, Jackson, Sullivan, Anderson, and Campbell Arthur, Ava Johnson, and two step great-grandchildren Hailee Lunte and Tristan Cook.
She was a member of Suburban Christian Church and Middletown Christian Church. Visitation will be held Tuesday February 6, 2024 at Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home, 7410 Westport, Louisville, KY from 11:00 am to 1:00. Funeral service at 1:00. Burial following the service at Resthaven Memorial Park, Bardstown Road.
