Joyce Singleton, 86 of Okolona passed away Thursday September 5, 2013 at Baptist Healthcare. She was the former Joyce Davidson, a native of Knott County, and a longtime member of Okolona Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Jarvis N. Singleton.
She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Coop (Michael) and Bernice Wollmann; sons, David Singleton (Laura) and Harold Singleton (Pam); brother Leon Davidson (Lois); sister, Coleene Blaylock; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A service to celebrate Mrs. Singleton’s life will be held at 12 pm Monday at the Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 8519 Preston Highway, with Reverend Jay Wollmann and Reverend Kyle Claunch officiating.
Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Sunday.
