Juanita (Nita) H. Eldridge, 86, of Louisville, KY and Naples, FL passed away May 4, 2012. Nita served the Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation for over 35 years as Executive Secretary and Administrator of the Pension Fund. Her career spanned over 50 years and she was known as a consumate professional. Nita was a lifetime member of Omega Phi Tau Sorority. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years Howard Eldridge, her mother Myrtle Creasy, father Walter Howard, Sr. and sister Anne.
Left to cherish her memory are sisters; Linda Howard, Gail Poe (Bob), Ginger Parker (Richard), brothers; Gregg Howard, Jr. (Anne) and Ray Howard (Paula), her nieces; Audrey Parker, Natalie Wolf (Thomas), Ellen Camp (Brad), nephews Paul Eldridge (Susan), Brad Eldridge (Pam), Devin Poe, Taylor Howard, Rick Parker Jr. (Megan) and five grand niece and nephews, three greatgrand-nephews and many loving friends.
Private Service are under the direction of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park.
