She was a secretary for Jefferson County Board of Education for many years.
Judy is survived by her loving husband, Jack Potts; children, Kim Riley (Duane) and Kevin Potts (Ellie); siblings, Keith Cove and Jean Brown (Ken); and grandchildren, Dustin, Jack, Abby, Sara, and Meghan.
There will be a funeral service at noon Thursday at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, with entombment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation to the public will be from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service on Thursday.
